I am so excited to work with you all!

Art has played a huge role in my life. My mother always encouraged art growing up, and it's paved the way for a successful creative career. What started off as playing with legos, play dough, and colored pencils; has now evolved into 3D Modeling, Animation, & Design.

I've had the honor of working alongside some of the most talented teams in the Tech & Media world including: Facebook, Twitter, NBC, Lexus, & NYC Fashion Week.

When I was a kid, I never knew what was possible in the realm of art, but I had encouraging people around me who supported me.

With your help, my goal is to encourage the next generation, and open their minds to the endless possibilities the future holds. There are so many creative careers that weren't available in the past. There has never been a better time to get creative!

Course description

All students will learn that no matter where they currently are in their journey, they are all creative. We will learn the basics of traditional art such as color theory and shape, before moving into digital art where we will then expand into more advanced techniques. Throughout the class we'll be connecting our learnings to real life creative career opportunities.

  • Receive an introduction to the world of coding

Materials

  • iPad (Provided by the school for in-class use)

  • Paint Markers

  • Sketchbook

  • Colored Pencils

  • Sketch Pencils/No.2 Pencils/Mechanical Pencils

  • Lego Robotics (Provided by the school for in-class use)

Evaluation

  • Participation is key, a big portion of this class is simply being engaged and willing to create!

  • We'll have weekly creative work

  • There will be a handful of small projects and a final presentation at the end.
